Throughout the project, Volume Five members share lead vocal duties proving their versatility on former country songs such as the Shawn Camp/Tim Mensey penned "The Grandpa That I Know", a Patty Loveless release from 2003; the Skip Ewing favorite, "The Gospel According To Luke"; the Don Williams classic "Good Ole Boys Like Me" as well as two Bill Monroe standards; "Cryin' Holy Unto the Lord" and "Can't You Hear Me Calling".

Mountain Fever Records is proudly releases  The Expedition Show  on February 28th.  The first single, "Backroads And Little Towns" has been shipped to radio programmers world-wide and is playing to a well received audience already!

Consisting of Blake Williams on banjo and vocals; Wayne Southards on guitar and vocals; Kimberly Williams on bass and vocals; and Alex Hibbitts on mandolin and vocals; The Expedition Show has been a fan and festival favorite since their beginning in early 2002 as Williams & Clark Expedition.  In the fall of 2009, the band underwent a personnel change, added Hibbitts, and changed their name toThe Expedition Show. During the band's 9 year tenure, the entertaining group has been nominated twice by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) for Emerging Artist of the Year (2005 and 2007), Wayne Southards has won the International Acoustic Music Association's Male Vocalist of the Year award (2009) and Blake Williams has been nominated three times for Entertainer of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (2007-2009).
